TSC und OpenSFF Scorecard

Dear project representatives, As you probably know, the next TSC election will take place on October 29th at 2 pm. We will be voting 5 people into the TSC (as in the past, some of them will come from the board), who will then serve for the next 2 years. As far as I know, there are currently still open positions on this committee, and we (as the board members) kindly ask you to consider putting yourself forward for the election or to suggest someone you think would be a good fit. Among other things, the TSC is responsible for developing a cross-association technical roadmap (but not the individual roadmaps of our projects) and for maintaining an overview of the technical alignment of the projects being developed at ALASCA. Please reach out to me or Helena in case you have any more questions. —— One more thing, last week at the Open Source Summit in Prague I stumbled over the OpenSFF Scorecard <https://scorecard.dev/> project which defines and automatically tests security related best practices for projects (currently only) at GitHub and GitLab. It took the liberty and ran this AI assisted for all our supported projects <https://gitlab.com/alasca.cloud/governance/governance/-/merge_requests/69> and wanted to share the results with you, please excuse the certification error: https://alasca.cloud.gitlab.io/-/governance/governance/-/jobs/17173307365/a… I think this could be something that the future TSC can adapt into their guidelines <https://docs.alasca.cloud/alasca/tsc-guidelines/>. For now there is no plan to get this merged. Car Cleaning Product Market: Are Drivers Changing How They Maintain Their Vehicles?

Car Cleaning Product Market: Are Drivers Changing How They Maintain Their Vehicles? Keeping a vehicle clean is about more than appearance. Regular cleaning can help remove road grime, dust, and contaminants from exterior surfaces while supporting interior hygiene and comfort. As drivers become more interested in vehicle care, specialized cleaning solutions are creating opportunities for product innovation, convenience, and more responsible cleaning practices. https://www.marketresearchfuture.com/reports/car-cleaning-product-market-29… What Are Consumers Looking For? Car owners can choose from a wide range of products, including shampoos, dashboard cleaners, glass cleaners, wheel cleaners, upholstery treatments, waxes, and protective coatings. Different surfaces require different formulations, making product performance and ease of use important purchasing considerations. Convenience is another influence. Ready-to-use sprays, microfiber-compatible solutions, and multipurpose products may appeal to consumers who prefer maintaining their vehicles at home. Professional detailers, meanwhile, often prioritize consistent results, specialized formulations, and value when purchasing products in larger quantities. Environmental considerations are also becoming part of the conversation. Concentrated formulas, refill packaging, reduced-plastic packaging, and products designed to use less water may appeal to environmentally conscious customers. However, buyers should still consider cleaning effectiveness, surface compatibility, and safe application instructions. Digital retail channels and product reviews can further influence purchasing decisions by helping customers compare ingredients, prices, application methods, and user experiences. Let's Discuss Which car cleaning products are essential for routine vehicle maintenance? Are consumers willing to pay more for environmentally considerate formulations? Do professional detailing products deliver better value than everyday alternatives? How important are online reviews and demonstrations when selecting products? The category serves both everyday drivers and professional automotive care businesses, each with different expectations and budgets. What is your go-to car cleaning product, and which feature matters most to you: performance, price, convenience, or environmental impact? Share your recommendations and experiences.
