ALASCA Community Hackathon - Invitation

Hey everyone, I am very excited to announce our second ALASCA community Hackathon. We are inviting you all to join us on July 1st and 2nd in Stuttgart at Urban Spaces (https://urbanspaces.de/de) to get together again and spend 2 days working on and further advancing our projects as well as related topics! 💯 Please reach out if you have a topic that you would like to bring to bring to the hackathon. We highly appreciate your initiative. On the evening of day 1, July 1st, all hackathon participants are once again invited to join the summer party of our member UhuruTec and enjoy some good food, conversation and overall great company. Since we were all quite happy with last year's event, we decided to keep it simple for everybody and chose the same location and agenda as last year. If you'd like to participate, please register for your free ticket and make sure to let us know if you'd like to stay for the evening event on day 1. ALASCA Summit 2026 - Call for Contribution is live

We're excited to announce, that we've officially opened up our*Call for Contribution* <https://alasca.cloud/en/alasca-summit-2026/alasca-summit-2026-programme/ala…> for the ALASCA Summit 2026! This year's motto: /With C – as in Community. Breaking down technical silos united for a digitally sovereign Europe./ Would you like to introduce a new project, present a use case or share „lessons learnt“ with the community? We are looking for a variety of technical submissions in the area of open source cloud infrastructure and look forward to many different topics. You can submit the following formats for this year's ALASCA Summit: * Lightning Talk (10 minutes) * Talk (20 minutes) * Workshop (3 hours): When submitting a workshop, we kindly ask you to include information regarding hardware, software and skill requirements in the abstract. The Call for Contribution is open until *31.05.2026. *In the weeks following that date, an evaluation and selection of all submitted contributions will be carried out and we will then inform you about the decision to include your submission in our programme for the ALASCA Summit 2026. We are super excited to see all of your contributions coming in throughout the following weeks and months and can't wait to curate a valuable, information packed programme for our community!
