Dear project representatives, As you probably know, the next TSC election will take place on October 29th at 2 pm. We will be voting 5 people into the TSC (as in the past, some of them will come from the board), who will then serve for the next 2 years. As far as I know, there are currently still open positions on this committee, and we (as the board members) kindly ask you to consider putting yourself forward for the election or to suggest someone you think would be a good fit. Among other things, the TSC is responsible for developing a cross-association technical roadmap (but not the individual roadmaps of our projects) and for maintaining an overview of the technical alignment of the projects being developed at ALASCA. Please reach out to me or Helena in case you have any more questions. —— One more thing, last week at the Open Source Summit in Prague I stumbled over the OpenSFF Scorecard <https://scorecard.dev/> project which defines and automatically tests security related best practices for projects (currently only) at GitHub and GitLab. It took the liberty and ran this AI assisted for all our supported projects <https://gitlab.com/alasca.cloud/governance/governance/-/merge_requests/69> and wanted to share the results with you, please excuse the certification error: https://alasca.cloud.gitlab.io/-/governance/governance/-/jobs/17173307365/ar... I think this could be something that the future TSC can adapt into their guidelines <https://docs.alasca.cloud/alasca/tsc-guidelines/>. For now there is no plan to get this merged.
